Chesterfield College open evening dates revealed: Here’s how you can register

Getting ahead of the game: Upcoming college open evenings are the ideal opportunity to assess options and sort out your next steps.

On the 28th November 2023 and 24th January 2024, 3.30pm-7.00pm, Chesterfield College’s popular open evening showcases are all set to provide careers advice, tours of campus and the clarity many seek when assessing their next steps of education or training.

Over 3000 people registered to attend the events last year, meeting tutors, gaining advice on their future career pathways and taking a look around the facilities. Whether it’s next steps when leaving school, retraining or upskilling, the event is the perfect opportunity to find out the best option to take and to complete an application on the night.

Support functions are also present at the event to discuss additional learning support options, travel/bus options and financial support including bursaries.

The showcase evenings are also a great opportunity to learn about all of the pathways now available at college including hands-on vocational courses, it’s very own Chesterfield Sixth Form, apprenticeships, higher education and T-Levels that mix vital industry placement and classroom time.

The college’s apprenticeship team, who work with 100s of employers across Chesterfield and Derbyshire, will also have live vacancies available on the night for anyone looking to start an apprenticeship as soon as possible.
