Appeal after prisoner who absconded from HMP Sudbury could be on the loose in Derbyshire

Marc Da-Silva, who is 33, escaped from the prison near Ashbourne almost two days ago on March 8.
He was convicted at Manchester Crown Court in 2010 for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Hide AdPolice in Derbyshire are now appealing for anyone who has seen Da-Silva to come forward.
The 33-year-old has links to the Manchester, Lancashire and Liverpool areas, and is white, around 5ft 6in, of medium build with brown hair.Anyone who has seen Da-Silva or knows of his whereabouts should not approach him but contact police immediately by calling 101 and quoting reference number 1228 of 8 March.
