Chesterfield drivers warned about breaching Covid-19 restrictions after breaking rules to meet up behind Post Office

Previously, officers had been made aware from members of the public that cars were regularly parking up behind the Post Office in Arkwright Town and ‘acting suspiciously’ and increased patrols in the area to catch people out in the area ‘without good reason’.
In the evening on February 15, police from the Holmewood, Grassmoor, Calow and Arkwright Safer Neighbourhood Team caught three men who had arrived in three cars in the car park behind the Post Office.

Hide AdThe men were handed one fixed penalty notice for possession of Cannabis, one Cannabis Caution and along with warnings for breaching current lockdown regulations.
