Police in Chesterfield step up patrols following vehicle break ins

It comes after the force said they had received ‘a lot of reports’ regarding vehicles being broken into and items being taken in the Newbold area.
Police from Newbold Safer Neighbourhood Team are now actively patrolling areas of the village, particularly later in the evenings in an attempt to deter further crime.

Hide AdDrivers are also encouraged to make sure their valuable items are taken out of their vehicle or locked out of sight to prevent further break ins.
