High winds have forced the closure of Chatsworth Flower Show's press day which was taking place today (Tuesday, June 6).

Two 20ft (6m) trees have been blown over, which has caused all the marquees to close.

Exhibitors have been asked to take down anything which could blow away.

The show, the first to be held, is due to open tomorrow (Wednesday, June 7) to the public.
