Competitions and collections were also organised by Galaxy Travel staff throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, Nicky Claxton, from the Butchers Arms, ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon, and thousands of pounds have been raised thanks to a skydive by Nicky and Ambimedia’s Dean Lowe along with John Pointon and Elliott Hughes.
Ashgate Hospicecare thanked everyone involved in the fundraising.
The hospice provides compassionate, specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge, to patients with a life-limiting illness and their families.
