Traffic Cops returns to Channel 5 tonight with Derbyshire police tackling M1 incident
and live on Freeview channel 276
The Channel 5 show, which gives an insight into the working lives of police patrolling roads across the UK, is set to return tonight at 8pm.
The first episode will see officers dealing with a car travelling at 165mph on the M1, a violent criminal protesting his innocence after being arrested following a pursuit and a hammer being thrown at an officer's vehicle from a van travelling at 60mph.

The series, presented by Jamie Theakston and billed by Channel Five as ‘Britain’s longest running and most watched police show’, has regularly featured officers from Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit dealing with major incidents on the county’s busiest roads.
Officers from Derbyshire previously appeared in both 2019 and 2020, with other locations featured in the past including South Wales, Sussex and Hertfordshire.
