A van caught alight on a busy Derbyshire A-road yesterday – amid extreme hot temperatures across the county.
On Friday, August 12, the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit were called to attend an incident on the A38 between Clay Mills and Willington.
Officers arrived and found that a van had caught fire on the route. Emergency services were able to extinguish the blaze, and there were no reports of any injuries.
