Wiseman and Anyon are '˜right sort of characters' for League Two battle
Both of the newcomers to the Proact have just been released by Scunthorpe United and both signed two-year deals with the Spireites today.
Wiseman has two promotions on his CV already and Branston says players who know how to win are exactly the kind of players Town are hoping to add this summer.

Hide Ad“It’s a must to have winners in the dressing room so you can look around when you’re going out onto the pitch, knowing you’ve got the right sort of characters with you into battle,” he said.
“You see the whites of the eyes, you see that he’s up for it as well.
“I think Scott’s one of those characters, I think Joe is as well. Joe has got a great attitude, I hear a lot of the stuff he does on and off the pitch.
“He got in the side as a League One goalkeeper and did very, very well.”

Hide AdChesterfield supporters on social media appear to be pleased with today’s double-signing and Branston says the club is targeting other signings that would keep fans happy.
“The calibre of players we’re going for is everything the fans will want – value for money, ticking the boxes we need,” he said.
“It’s a different sort of character we’re looking for to get us back up out of this division.
“I’m very conscious of getting the right sorts in the building first, to set the precedent to move us forward.”
